”You’re in Midgar, pal.”
It’s easier to familiarize himself with new people by using his normal speech patterns instead of formalities ( as his former mentor had suggested, and had been ignored ).
“What do you think?”
“Midgar, huh?”
The name rolls off his tongue while an ice-like visage attempts to take in their current surroundings– not entirely impressive, but he’s seen worse. So, this was Midgar?
“Kinda gloomy,” an answer with intentional honesty. It was a simple observation.
“I never once said you were running. I was merely making a comment. Every day people make foolish decisions, but they were made with the best of intentions. All I mean to say is that you should take into thought the consequences of all your actions. At least on the occasion.”
“I–”
[ A pause. ]
“I have– at least, I was under the impression that I did. I guess I haven’t really considered or thought about that, but I suppose that’s my problem, huh?”
